Pastor Samuel C. Stowers is a founding member of the Mission of Hope Evangelistic Missionary Ministries in New York City. Since 2000, he has worked along the side of Senior-Pastor Odis C. Stowers, Overseer Odell Stowers, and Overseer Lydia Stowers to lay the foundation of the Mission of Hope Ministries, His teaching is based on the scripture: 2 Timothy 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. Pastor Samuel Stowers is a true Missionary of God that will go into homes for prayer, hospitals to visit the sick, feed the hungry, and give to those in need.
Pastor Samuel Stowers is a true man of God that is admired by his church, family, and friends. Stowers is a businessman who has opened several stores in New York City tri state area; in his present position as store trainer/manger of CVS, he believes in giving opportunities to as many as he can help. Pastor Stowers answered to the call of ministry in 2005, he was installed as Pastor of Mission of Hope Ministries in 2008, and has dedicated his life to stand and preach the word of God ever since.
A few years ago Pastor Sam faced the greatest challenge of his life and ministry; Pastor Stowers suffered a full stroke and was left paralyzed on the left side of his body. He had to depend on the word of God for his own divine healing. With great faith and patience he prayed that God would raise him up again, and God did just that; giving him a wonderful testimony of the true healing power of God.
Pastor Samuel has a strong love for the youth and a pressed in his heart to reach the young people across the city. Stowers is the founder of M.O.H. â Y.A.P.A (Young Adults Properly rmed) Conference which holds quarterly young empowerment services.
The Conference is based on the scripture Ephesians 6:11" Put on the whole armor of God that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the
devil." Teaching the youth to use the principles of the word of God in their life. Pastor Samuel joined together with several Pastors and the Y.A.P.A. Conference has been held in New York, Brooklyn, and New Jersey in various locations. Pastor Stowers wants the youth to know" there is joy in serving the Lord!"
Pastor Samuel C. Stowers is married to the love of is life Kimina Stowers, the father of two beautiful daughters, one son, and two grandsons.
